Project Coordinator

Role & responsibilities

1.Project Planning and Strategy:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables.
• Formulate and implement effective project strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.

2. Execution Oversight:

• Lead and guide project teams in the execution of project plans.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of project activities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for other team members, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
• Ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and the delivery of high-quality results.

3. Operations Management:

• Streamline project operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement best practices for project execution, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Budgetary Control:
• Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
• Track and report on budgetary allocations, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.

4.Team Leadership:

• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and address any challenges.

5.Quality Control:

• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality project outputs
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements within project management
• procedures.
• Implement best practices to optimize project outcomes.

6.Travel and Site Visits:

• Travel to project sites as required overseeing project implementation, assessing progress, and addressing challenges.
• Conduct site evaluations, gather data, and provide on-site support to project teams.

7.Stakeholder Liaison and Compliance Management:

• Act as a bridge between government, NGOs, local communities, and the organization, establishing and maintaining relationships with government officials, agencies, and stakeholders, while ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.

Preferred candidate profile

• Masters or Bachelors degree in Relevant Field; Project Management certification is a plus.
• Exp. In handling govt. project
• Proven experience in end-to-end project management, with a focus on successful project delivery.
• Good exp. in govt. liasioning.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle and operations management.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively within India.
