Roles and Responsibilities:

The job encompasses but is not limited to the following Roles and Responsibilities:

•  Responsible for developing any new procedures/ Manual
•  Responsible for guiding team on preparation of QAP / ITP as per the customer requirement and verify and approve the same before submission
•  Responsible of checking and approving the GAD as per the customer requirement
•  Visit customer end if required to resolve quality related issues / Customer Complaints
•  Coordinating with Production team & Sales team for completion of work order with controlling QC process
•  Accountable for Handling all Third-party inspection involving various clients and end customer and guide the team for completing on time
•  Review and act on customer complaints through CAPA by root cause analysis using various quality tools
•  Accountable for Inward / In-process inspections and should ensure Ontime completion of the same following Quality system Procedures
•  Should have sound knowledge on ISO 9001 and 14001 Quality management system and should conduct regular quality internal audits and handle external Audit
•  Oversee and Maintain Calibration Record and ensure to Maintain as Procedure
•  Familiar with International Standards & Specifications. ASME, ASTM, EN, API, BS, IS & EN standards
•  Work with engineering and production control to resolve quality related issues during the project execution
•  Co-ordinate with Purchasing team to schedule and carry out inspection at suppliers end
•  Coordinate and participate in customer and regulatory agency audits
•  Coordinate with procurement team for vendor selection / approval of vendor
•  Plan and procure QC / test equipment requirements and train the team for usage
•  Responsible for direction, supervision, and overall administration of Inspection / Quality Assurance section.
•  Plan, train and develop the competency / skillsets of Inspectors / Supplier Quality &QA team.

**Any other responsibility as per discretion of management.

Competencies: -

Technical

•  Knowledge on Gate, Butterfly, Check, Air and control valves.
•  Ability to communicate well at all levels in English.
•  Competent in the use of computer software such as Microsoft Office-Excel, Word & PowerPoint etc.
•  Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor for QMS is added advantage
