Job description for Sales Engineer Karnataka
Designation/ Title: Sales Engineer
Location: Karnataka
Experience: Min. 2-4 years (Experience in valves industry is an added advantage)
Objectives
â The position of Sales Engineer for an ambitious, self-motivated, versatile, and committed individual having good interpersonal skill.
â Main objective is field sales & marketing for promoting various AVK products in the market with the concept of solution selling.
â Act as a first point of contact with customers for receiving RFQâs, handling technical queries, preparation & submission of Techno-Commercial offers, participate in discussions/negotiations for closing orders.
â Work closely with the regional sales manager for meeting the annual Sales & Marketing Targets for the assigned territory.
Requirements:
â DME / BE-Mech / MBA-Marketing experience in technical sales of valves/pumps/electro-mechanical product/equipment.
â Experience in valves industry is an added advantage.
⢠Knowledge of various standards EN/BS/IS.
⢠Good networking, customer relationship building and presentation skill with sales & marketing acumen.
⢠Planning, forecasting, analytical and critical thinking skill.
⢠Quick learner & problem-solving ability.
⢠Able to communicate (written and oral) proficiently in English and Kannada and other (Local Language).
⢠Operating knowledge of Microsoft office tools like Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
⢠Knowledge on ERP/CRM is an added advantage.
⢠Business analysis, strategy, and market intelligence
⢠Flexible to travel and working from different / remote locations.
⢠Knowledge on Quotations/Costing/Order Processing/Incoterms/Payment terms/Warranty etc.
Role and Responsibilities:
The job encompasses but is not limited to the following Role and Responsibilities:
⢠Meeting Annual Sales & Marketing Targets for the assigned territory.
⢠Field sales & marketing for promoting various AVK products in the market with the concept of solution selling.
⢠Identify & develop new customers and generate new project/daily sales enquiries.
⢠Establish new and maintain existing relationships with customers.
⢠Conduct presentations and field demonstrations with govt. authorities, water boards, consultants, and customers to demonstrate AVKâs superior quality products and solutions.
⢠Co-ordinate with clients & consultants for inclusion of AVK specifications and brand/vendor approval in tenders/projects.
⢠Act as a first point of contact with customers for receiving RFQâs, handling technical queries, preparation, and submission of Techno-Commercial offers.
⢠Participate in techno-commercial discussions / negotiations for closing orders.
⢠Coordinate with Internal Sales & Operations Team for Execution of the orders.
⢠Liaising with customers, consultants, and departments for QAP & GAD approvals.
⢠Ensuring customer satisfaction by on-time delivery and right first time.
⢠Handling customer complaints and offer after-sales service support.
