SAP SD Consultant - VC Module (8-10 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP SD Consultant with a deep understanding of Variant Configuration (VC) to join our growing team.

You will play a pivotal role in leading the setup and optimization of SAP SD processes with VC functionalities, ensuring efficient order processing for our configurable products.

Responsibilities :

Lead SAP SD Variant Configuration Setup :

- Design and implement VC models for configurable products.

- Configure characteristics, classes, classification hierarchies, and dependencies.

- Define and maintain configuration profiles, value selections, and constraints.

- Establish Super BOMs and Super Routings to manage dynamic product structures.

Streamline Sales Order Processing :

- Define configuration profiles and dependencies to simplify order entry for configurable products.

- Integrate VC with order management functionality for seamless processing.

- Develop and manage configuration-based pricing strategies to account for product options.

Optimize SD and VC Processes :

- Analyze and identify opportunities to improve efficiency within SD and VC workflows.

- Implement best practices for order management and production planning with VC.

Testing and Documentation :

- Develop comprehensive test plans to validate SAP SD processes with VC functionalities.

- Document configurations, processes, and procedures for clarity and ongoing maintenance.

Training and Support :

- Train end-users on VC functionalities and configuration options.

- Provide post-go-live support for troubleshooting VC issues and ensuring smooth operations.

Integration and Collaboration :

- Collaborate with SAP MM and SAP PP teams for smooth integration of VC with material management and production planning processes.

- Work effectively with business users to understand and translate their requirements into efficient configurations.

Technical Requirements :

- Proven experience of 8+ years in SAP SD with a strong focus on Variant Configuration (VC).

- In-depth knowledge of VC concepts, including configuration profiles, characteristics, values, dependencies, and constraints.

- Proficiency in Super BOM (CS01) and Super Routing (CA01) functionalities.

- Experience with integrating SAP SD with SAP MM and SAP PP, particularly for Make-to-Order (MTO) and Assemble-to-Order (ATO) scenarios.

- Excellent understanding of SAP SD processes, including order management, pricing, billing, and delivery.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex configurations and dependencies.

- Experience with SAP ABAP for scripting or customizing solutions (Optional, but a plus).

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration for VC functionalities (Optional, but a plus).
