Senior SAP Basis Consultant - E2E Implementation (8-10 yrs)

We are looking for a Senior SAP Basis Consultant with 8+ years of experience to join our team.

As a Senior SAP Basis Consultant, you will play a critical role in handling SAP upgrades, performance issues, and managing a range of SAP components, while working remotely in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP BASIS Administration :

- Manage and support SAP system installations, upgrades, and configurations.

- Oversee system conversions for various SAP components, ensuring smooth technical execution.

- Provide troubleshooting expertise for performance issues at the SAP application and database layers.

- System Upgrades and Release Planning :

- Lead technical planning, implementation, and configuration for SAP release upgrades and system conversions.

- Utilize upgrade tools like SUM and DMO for system updates and migrations.

SAP HANA and S/4HANA :

- Deep knowledge of SAP HANA, including its architecture and migration paths.

- Experience with S/4HANA architectures, including system conversions and migrations to the S/4HANA platform.

Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization :

- Resolve performance issues related to SAP applications, databases, and underlying infrastructure.

- Analyze and optimize system performance, ensuring efficient operations across layers.

Collaboration and Coordination :

- Coordinate delivery and project activities in heterogeneous environments.

- Collaborate with remote and virtual teams, ensuring efficient project execution and communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration, with extensive work on upgrades and troubleshooting.

- Experience with SAP HANA and S/4HANA architectures.

- Solid understanding of SAP technologies, products, and system configurations.

Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of SAP upgrade tools like SUM (Software Update Manager) and DMO (Database Migration Option).

- Expertise in performance optimization and troubleshooting in SAP applications and databases.

Languages :

- Must be proficient in either Korean or Japanese for effective communication with clients and teams.

Additional Knowledge :

- Experience with non-SAP technologies is a plus.

- Knowledge of technical planning and configuration for system conversions and upgrades.

Soft Skills :

- Ability to work effectively in a remote, virtual team environment.
