Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join Autodesks Offer to Order Domain with specific focus on our Autodesk Partner Web Services platform.
Our Offer to Order domain is part of the Enterprise Systems & Experience (ESE) team. ESE ideates, plans, builds and runs the enterprise foundation for Autodesk. We build platforms that help our employees and partners drive value for our customers. Also, we are transforming our culture and embracing a product-led mindset while focusing on engineering best practices.
In this role, you will help shape the future of how we digitally engage with our channel partners, focusing on enabling our 3rd party reseller partners to sell and support Autodesk products for our customers. You will work with Sr. Product Managers for our Partner Web Services API Integration platform and other solutions to define, prioritize and implement high value capabilities, and act as a conduit between partners, internal stakeholders, and the engineering teams that build our solutions. This position demands a balance of technical knowledge, business acumen, and excellent communication skills to manage the product backlog, roadmap, and capability delivery, ensuring alignment with Autodesks strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- In partnership with Senior Product Managers, develop the product strategy and roadmap for the Offer to Order product domain and specifically the Autodesk Partner Web Services Integration platform, aligning with the company vision and objectives
- Collaborate with team members to gather insights and identify user pain points, needs, and opportunities
- Leverage data, research and a robust feedback loop to conduct product discovery and define and prioritize product features and requirements based on business impact
- Create detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide development and ensure agreement on user needs
- Collaborate with architecture to provide scalable and stable solutions that align to enterprise architecture principles
- Work with engineering teams to lead the successful implementation and delivery of partner facing products and features
- Collaborate with experience design teams to ensure intuitive and user-friendly integrations and interactions that enhance the user experience and align with a target partner and customer journey
- Monitor main product metrics and analyze data to measure product performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions
- Promote channel partner adoption of the Partner APIs continuously improving to build best practices for partner collaboration
- Use Lean/Agile methods to deliver value through working software. Promote platform thinking, CI/CD automation, robust, scalable, secure and performant solutions
- Maintain understanding of Autodesk s CRM, Finance, and Commerce systems and their integration with the APIs
- Collaborate with various business units to enhance both internal and partner experiences
- Ensure and/or conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features
- Assist support teams to review or troubleshoot partner challenges or data quality issues to identify improvement opportunities
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for portal adoption, usage, and performance to drive continuous improvement
Minimum Qualifications
- Advanced understanding of SAP S/4 ERP, Salesforce CRM including 3rd party Purchase Order to Collect processes with a focus on high volume external integration for opportunities, quotes, orders and invoices
- Advanced experience with API integration and highly integrated enterprise systems
- Basic data analysis skills for querying API logs, S/4 order data and Salesforce CRM data and evaluating feature effectiveness
- 5-8 years of Product Management experience, having shipped multiple scalable products
- Ability to work globally, sensitive to localized user needs and time zones
- Proven success in lean engineering and Agile software development
- Ability to translate customer needs into actionable product vision and requirements
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to gather, analyze and use data to make decisions, understand relevant business problems, justify and support prioritization and ensure effective solutions
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. An MBA is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with channel partner interactions, especially in SaaS markets
- Experience in any of Autodesk s industries, including Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC); Product Design and Manufacturing; or Media and Entertainment
- Comfort with ambiguity and flexibility and ability to distill ambiguity into prioritized activities and results
- Customer service orientation and a deeply analytical mindset
- Ability to inspire engineers, designers, and integrators with a collective vision
- Detail-oriented yet adaptable
