Legal Manager (Litigation)

Job Purpose

To handle the litigation portfolio of the Bank and coordinate, support filed team with respect to legal aspects.

Key Responsibilities (What to be Done)

• Should have knowledge of NIA Sec.138 cases process end to end with court exposure of giving evidence and cross examination.
• Should have knowledge of SARFAESI proceedings end to end from 13.2 to auction sale.
• Follow-up bank against cases: to give proper feedback, details, documents in bank against cases to advocate for preparing and filing Written Statement and to vet the same and to adduce evidence in bank against cases.
• To handle Employee fraud cases/police complaints.
• Coordination with filed team in empanelment of advocates or law firms as per our Banks requirements.
• To maintain legal database/MIS of all the ongoing proceedings across functions and regions, follow up with concerned business/regional team for closure.
• Dealing with the Enforcement and police authorities as and when required.
