Job Description
Elevator Installation Planning:
- Review architectural and construction plans to understand the installation requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop an installation schedule.
- Assess the site conditions to identify potential challenges and develop appropriate solutions.
Equipment Inspection and Testing:
- Inspect elevator components and ensure they meet quality standards before installation.
- Perform testing and calibration of elevators to guarantee their proper functioning.
- Conduct safety checks to ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
Installation Supervision:
- Oversee the installation team and subcontractors during the installation process.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Monitor the progress of installation tasks and ensure timely completion.
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
- Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during the installation process.
- Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems related to elevators.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any post-installation issues.
Safety Compliance:
- Enforce and adhere to safety protocols and regulations during the installation process.
- Conduct safety training for installation team members.
- Ensure that all safety standards and practices are followed to prevent accidents and injuries.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of the installation process, including progress reports and documentation of any changes or adjustments made.
- Generate installation reports for project managers and other stakeholders.
Client Communication:
- Communicate with clients and building owners to address their concerns and provide updates on the installation progress.
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction throughout the installation process.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Only Experiences in Elevator Industry can apply.
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
- Previous experience in elevator installation or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of elevator components, systems, and industry standards.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and lead a group of technicians.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
