Senior Engineer-IDT

Role & responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of production system integrations, focusing on ERP and MES systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, including system design, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.

Oversee production system support and ensure high availability of systems such as MES, ERP, IPS (Integrated Production Systems), and MHR (Manufacturing Human Resources).

Lead the integration of ERP with MES, customizing solutions for specific production workflows and needs.

Train and mentor junior engineers in troubleshooting, system optimization, and operational excellence.

Conduct in-depth analysis of system performance, identify potential risks, and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Provide leadership for small to medium-sized IT projects using project management principles (e.g., PMP).

Identify new technologies and improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Drive automation initiatives in production systems to reduce reliance on human data collection and streamline operations.

Preferred candidate profile

Extensive experience with ERP and MES integration, including strong knowledge of SQL, data mapping, and transformation.

Hands-on experience managing IT infrastructure in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in SQL and database management for operational troubleshooting.

Strong project management skills with a proven track record of leading system implementation and upgrade projects.

Able to assist in project management by creating project plans, identifying risks, and supporting the team to achieve goals efficiently.
