Senior Engineer- Electrical Operations

Key Requirements

• Must hold a valid license to operate 66 KV substations as per the Central Electricity Act 2023 (CEA2023).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee Operation and Maintenance of 66 KV lines and associated equipment.
• Plan and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) of the electrical system to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Implement robust processes to achieve ZERO downtime for electrical systems.
• Maintain and update the Management Information System (MIS) for the power system.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards for high-tension (HT) operations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Knowledge Requirements:

• Expertise in Power Circuit and Control Circuit operations (HT & LT systems: 66/11/0.415 KV).
• Proficient in the safety operations of HT lines, including tools and tackles.
• Familiarity with facility equipment such as compressors, chillers, AHUs, and vacuum pumps.
• Experience in PM and Breakdown Management of electrical systems.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement energy-saving initiatives.

Skill Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in operating and troubleshooting 66 KV or higher voltage lines and equipment.
• Ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis in a structured and systematic manner.
