Placement Manager (Corporate Relations) - Hospitality college

Role & responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

1. Building Industry Relationships:
   
• Establish and nurture partnerships with leading organizations in the hospitality sector, including hotels, resorts, airlines, cruise lines, and other service-based enterprises.
• Act as the primary point of contact for recruiters and industry professionals.
2. Placement Activities:
   
• Plan and execute on-campus and off-campus placement drives, career fairs, and recruitment sessions.
• Coordinate with recruiters to schedule interviews and ensure smooth placement processes.
3. Student Training and Development:
   
• Organize pre-placement training programs to enhance students employability skills, including resume building, group discussions, interview techniques, and communication skills.
• Conduct career counseling sessions to guide students in choosing the right career paths.
4. Internship Facilitation:
   
• Identify and arrange internships that align with students' academic curriculum and career aspirations.
• Ensure proper monitoring of student performance during internships and provide feedback to foster growth.
5. Data Management and Reporting:
   
• Maintain a comprehensive database of students, alumni, recruiters, and placement records.
• Prepare detailed reports on placement and internship statistics to share with stakeholders.
6. Industry Engagement:
   
• Represent the institute in industry forums, networking events, and conferences to promote student talent and institute's reputation.
• Stay updated on industry trends to align placement strategies with evolving market demands.

Preferred candidate profile :

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• A degree in hospitality, preferably with prior experience of minimum 8-15 years in training, placement, or industry relations.
• Strong understanding of the hospitality sector and its career opportunities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office 
• Passion for mentoring and guiding students toward successful careers.
