Operations Manager G Card Holder

Description.
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager who is a G Card Holder to lead our logistics operations in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in the freight industry, demonstrating a keen understanding of operations management and a track record of enhancing operational efficiency.
This role requires strong leadership skills to manage teams effectively while ensuring all operations comply with legal regulations and company standards.
Responsibilities.
Oversee daily operations of the freight and logistics division, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
Develop, implement, and monitor strategies to improve productivity and service quality.
Lead, train, and mentor the operations team to enhance their performance and skills.
Manage budgeting, reporting, and compliance related to operations.
Coordinate with various departments to streamline operations and ensure timely delivery of services.
Analyze performance metrics and adjust operations strategies accordingly.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality control measures.
Act as the primary point of contact for resolving operational issues and discrepancies.
Requirements.
Proven experience as an Operations Manager in the logistics sector.
Valid G Card certification.
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field (preferred).
