Position: Junior QC Officer Water-Based Paints
Location: Bangalore

Job Description:
Astral Paints is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior QC Officer to join our Quality Control team. This role involves ensuring that our water-based paints meet the highest quality standards. Freshers with a strong academic background and interest in quality assurance are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality control tests on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Document test results, observations, and deviations.
• Assist in troubleshooting quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration as per requirements.
• Collaborate with the production and R&D teams to improve product quality.

Key Skills & Attributes:

• Basic knowledge of quality control processes and testing methods.
• Familiarity with water-based paint formulations is a plus.
• Attention to detail and good analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Educational Background: B.Sc/M.Sc in Chemistry, Diploma or Degree in Paint Technology, or related fields.
• Candidates with coursework or internships in the paint industry will be preferred.
