DEPARTMENT & SUB-DEPARTMENT Supply Chain Management

JOB TITLE/ ROLE / DESIGNATION Warehouse Manager PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
(List the principal duties, activities and responsibilities for the position in descending order of importance.)1. Design daily warehouse activities including receiving, inventory control, storage, order fulfillment and shipping.

2. Ensure that warehouse operations are carried out in an efficient, cost-effective manner.

3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels, stock movements and orders.

4. Implement and manage standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehousing operations.

5. Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, forklift operators and other staff.

6. Train, mentor and develop warehouse staff to ensure they meet operational standards.

7. Conduct performance reviews and address any personnel issues.

8. Manage inventory systems to ensure accuracy in stock levels, reducing stock discrepancies and ensuring stock is available for order fulfillment.

9. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure that stock is restocked in a timely manner.

10. Implement inventory control measures and conduct regular stock audits.

11. Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and ensure timely and accurate delivery.

12. Work closely with transportation teams to ensure timely dispatch of goods and resolve any delivery or logistics issues.

13. Ensure proper handling and safe storage of products to avoid damage.

14. Ensure warehouse compliance with all health and safety regulations.

15. Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective measures as needed.

16. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to prevent workplace accidents.

17. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.

18. Implement Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies to optimize warehouse operations.

19. Analyze performance metrics and set KPIs for team productivity.

20. Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels and operational efficiency for senior management.

21. Maintain accurate documentation of all warehouse operations and shipments.

DEPARTMENTAL STRUCTURE

Position reporting to (Designation / Level): Head - Supply Chain Management QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (Minimum to Maximum)15 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics, with a proven track record in managing warehouse operations.
FUNCTIONAL / TECHNICAL & BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS REQUIREDFunctional / Technical Skills (E.g.: Financial Accounting, Data Analytics, Content Writing, IT etc.)

1. Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory control systems.
2. Strong leadership and people management skills.
3. Solid understanding of supply chain and logistics processes.


Behavioral Skills (E.g.: Communication Skills, Presentation Skills, Team Management skills etc.)

2. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects under tight deadlines.
