SUMMARY

Ensuring all SCM warehouse metrics and audits are as per the defined SLA and processes with optimization on cost and efficiency.

Summary of Role Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Supervise the GRN, Putaway, Picking and shipment of goods as per the defined TAT
• Monitor inventory levels, perform stock audits, and ensure proper storage methods for all items.
• Aligning warehouse space in line with throughput nos, NSO and do the CBA for ensuring smooth operations.

Team Leadership

• Lead and manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and providing ongoing support and development.
• Ensure proper deployment of manpower across task to ensure all the required TAT and Metrics are as per the KPIs.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment and ensure all employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Manpower and transportation planning and cost optimization.
• Vendor management skills.

Inventory and Supply Chain Management

• Manage inventory systems to track product movement and minimize errors or stockouts.
• Tracking of cycle count and discrepancy to resolve the shrinkage.
• Warehouse audit tracking and resolving audit queries in line with whs operations.
• Coordinate and lias with planning and buying to understand the throughput and accordingly balance the warehouse operations
• Planning of inward and outward during EOSS and peak festivals

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and health regulations, as per the guidelines.
• Conduct regular safety audits and provide ongoing training on safe practices and equipment usage.
• Address and resolve any safety or compliance issues promptly.

Process Improvement

• Process improvement across all activity to improve efficiency and reduce cost
• Damage reduction across all movements of inward, storage, outward and transit.
• Ensure all warehouse KPI and metrics are as per the defined SOP and Processes.
• Monitoring SLA across all activity.
• Check for possible automation to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
• Running of KATA process to increase productivity.
• Monitor warehouse performance dashboard and KPI

Reporting and Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, inventory levels, and operational costs.
• Generate regular reports on performance metrics, TAT, KPI, inventory accuracy, and order fulfilment.
• Productivity monitoring and tracking at each activity level.
• Strong understanding on data analytics and should have eye for details.
