Description:

- The equities team in India works alongside the JP Morgan Asset Management equities team on areas like equity research, investment specialist, trading research, data science and portfolio implementation function which not only helps us expand our investment coverage and add insights but also uplift and expand our product offerings.

- As a Portfolio Implementation Analyst in Equities team, you will support senior portfolio managers on the analysis and execution of US Equity Investment strategies.

- You will learn about the portfolio management process by assisting in the daily implementation of a portfolio strategy.

- You will liaise with team members across JP Morgan Asset Management on projects related to portfolio management.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop an understanding of the investment process with the objective of assisting the portfolio manager in implementing buy/sell decisions by sending down orders in equities, futures, and treasuries, monitoring cash flows amongst various accounts, communicating with trading teams, and monitoring futures hedging, etc.

- Keep abreast of portfolio positioning, market news, and trades, analyzing/reconciling position discrepancies, monitoring account guidelines and restrictions, investment performance reviews etc.

- Collaborate with various team members and groups on projects related to portfolio management, including research initiatives, stock fundamentals and valuation, complex account transitions, transaction cost analysis, etc.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

- At least 4 years of work experience within investment process support or financial product domain

- Strong numerical, analytical and problem solving skills

- Understanding of financial services industry

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to execute on objectives defined, focused on goals/results

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

- Familiarity with Bloomberg

- Coding experience in VBA, Python
