Associate - Capital Markets Practice - Law Firm - LLB/CS (1-4 yrs)

A reputed law firm is looking to hire an Associate with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) for its Capital Markets practice in Mumbai. The ideal candidate must possess both an LL.B. degree and Company Secretary (CS) qualification. This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of capital markets transactions, including IPOs, rights issues, QIPs, and private placements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advising clients on equity and debt capital market transactions.

- Drafting and reviewing offer documents, transaction agreements, and regulatory filings.

- Ensuring compliance with SEBI regulations, Companies Act, and other applicable laws.

- Coordinating with regulators, stock exchanges, and other stakeholders.

- Assisting in due diligence and handling pre- and post-issuance compliances.

Requirements:

- 2-3 years of relevant experience in capital markets at a leading law firm.

- LL.B. degree and Company Secretary (CS) qualification are mandatory.

- Strong understanding of SEBI regulations, corporate laws, and securities market practices.

- Excellent legal drafting, research, and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
