Associate - General Corporate Law/Mergers & Acquisitions/Private Equity/Venture Capital Sector - LLB (2-4 yrs)

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Associate with experience in General Corporate law, Mergers & Acquisitions, and the PE/VC sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in corporate transactions and a keen interest in working on challenging mandates in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, including transaction agreements, term sheets, shareholder agreements, and investment documents.

- Support due diligence processes, identifying key risks, and advising clients on mitigation strategies.

- Provide legal advice on structuring M&A, PE, and VC transactions in compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction execution.

- Conduct legal research to stay updated on changes in corporate law and regulations affecting the GC/M&A/PE-VC domain.

Qualifications and Skills:

- LL.B. from a reputed law school.

- 2-4 years of relevant experience in GC, M&A, and PE/VC transactions, preferably at a leading law firm.

- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.

- Sound knowledge of corporate laws, SEBI regulations, FDI policies, and transaction structuring.

- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
