We will count on you to:.
- Managing and overseeing the Portfolio Solutions Group commitments to external Platforms, Governance Boards and sub-Committees, including management level governance forums.
- Establishing and operationalizing a refreshed Investment Governance Model specific to the Portfolio Solutions Group as the Investment Manager for several externally distributed and managed portfolios.
- Prepare written reports and presentation of Investment and Portfolio information to Boards, sub committees and management level committees, focusing on compliance and risk.
- Oversight of all policy, regulatory, compliance, disclosure, legal and fiduciary requirements, and ensuring they are adhered to, tracked and met in line with service levels.
- Establish and build strong collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders, the external RE's and their risk, compliance, legal, product etc. sub-committees.
- Service delivery of all governance, compliance, and risk services to ensure requirements are met to agreed service levels.
- Oversight of Investment Management Board and sub-Committee deliverables and proactive management of each to ensure they are delivered at a high quality.
- Manage queries and requests relating to Boards from internal and external stakeholders.
- Remain informed and educated about industry and market developments and best practice through continuing education activities.
What you need to have:.
- 7+ years' experience with investment governance, specifically understanding of investment structures, managed funds and the fiduciary, regulatory, compliance obligations that come with it.
- Experience in independently managing multiple, complex projects and applying problem solving and creative thinking.
- Strong analytical skills and the capacity to interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of investments and current issues.
- Knowledge and sound numeracy skills and application.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capable of working in a team environment.
- MBA or at-least master's degree in finance/economics/commerce.
- Any progress towards FRM, CFA or CAIA is a plus.
