Position Title: Assistant Manager-Taxation

Report to: Manager - Taxation

Position Summary: Candidate will be an integral part of the Puma India Taxation team and would assist the team with the taxation function. The selected person would help to further streamline the processes and reconciliation and help businesses in making processes more tax efficient

Key Objective: The objectives would include assisting in:

• Income Tax and Transfer Pricing Compliances including withholding taxes.
• Managing reconciliations between returns and books
• Support to finance and business team in terms of queries on direct tax laws to help making processes tax efficient

Key performance indicator:

• 100% compliance
• Closing litigations
• Tax savings
• Process efficiency

Eligibility Criteria and Functional Competencies Required

• 2+ years of experience
• Candidate should be a qualified CA
• Should have sound understanding of taxation laws and possess analytical skills to identify problems and propose solution for the same
• Should have excellent communication skills
