Assistant Manager - Taxation

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects related to Indirect Taxes, ensuring compliance with GST and other relevant laws.
• Prepare and process data for the filing of indirect tax returns in adherence to defined norms and timelines.
• Reconcile Books of Accounts vs. Returns on a monthly and annual basis.
• Conduct Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist the Manager in compiling detailed responses to queries raised by internal stakeholders, consultants, and auditors.
• Support the resolution of tax notices, assessments, disputes, and GST-related issues.
• Drive process optimization through automation tools and methodologies.
• Address and close Internal, Statutory, and other audit-related queries effectively.
• Develop and institutionalize a strong MIS reporting framework for indirect taxes.
• Ensure compliance with Direct Tax requirements, including Advance Tax, TDS, and return filings.

Educational Qualification:

• CA Inter or M.Com

Experience Required:

• Minimum 3 years to a maximum of 6 years in relevant roles.
