I. JOB DETAILS

• Job Title

• Assistant Manager/Manager, Growth and M&A

II. JOB PURPOSE

The role holder will work with the Growth and M&A team to drive business planning and analysis, growth, M&A, and other strategic projects as per organizational priorities.

III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Responsibilities

• Financial modeling and valuation, including the identification of synergies, evaluate business and financial viability.
• Benchmark business performance metrics against key competitors and evaluate potential opportunities to grow through both organic and inorganic means.
• Travel to target expansion cities to assess and identify strategically fit micro-markets for the setting up of hospitals, acquisitions, etc.
• Lead generation for M&A, land acquisition, and long-term lease: cold calling and connecting with developers and intermediaries to generate leads and help materialize.
• Evaluate land layout, building plans and other hospital infrastructure-related documents.
• Support end-to-end due diligence process across all functional areas
• Maintain updated repository of industry trends and competitors performance metrics.
• Partner with teams executing on the ground and/or monitor execution
• Support in preparation of quarterly board meeting-related collaterals

V. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications

• BTech / BCom(H) / MBA / CA / CFA

Experience

• More than 2 years of experience
• Ideally from a research firm, consulting, or investment banking
• Experience within the healthcare sector is preferable but not necessary.

Behavioural Skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills and conflict management ability
• Collaborative team player
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Technical Skills

• Strong presentation skillsproficient with PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word
• Program management - Good organization and planning skills.
• Excellent strategic ability and analytical skills
• Knowledge of other software tools (AutoCAD, etc.) is preferable.
• Analytical bent of mind.
