Job Purpose Work with Specification Consultants to get APL Smartcare brand included in the specifications Objective will be to generate BOQs with APL specification Conversion of BOQs to sale need to be followed up with the Sales Team Business Responsibilities 1 Specification Development:
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and CCC to specify construction chemical products in their designs and project documentation
• Provide BOQ technical support and recommendations to ensure that the specified products meet project requirements 2 Market and Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the construction value chain, including specifiers, consultants, contractors, and developers
• Conduct presentations, technical seminars, and product demonstrations to educate stakeholders about product performance and benefits 3 Technical Expertise:
• Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance in specifications
• Offer on-site and off-site technical advice to resolve challenges and optimize product performance 4 Product Promotion and Support:
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify projects where the companys products can be specified
• Promote newly developed products to target audiences by highlighting innovative features and value addition 5 Project Tracking:
• Monitor and track specified projects through various stages, from design to implementation
• Ensure product specifications are maintained during construction and address any substitutions or modifications 6 Collaboration and Reporting:
• Work closely with internal departments like sales, technical support, and R&D to deliver customized solutions
• Maintain detailed records of specifications, project leads, and follow-ups, providing periodic updates to management Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in civil engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field
• Strong knowledge of construction chemicals and their applications Previous Experience
• Proven experience 8+ years in a similar role, preferably in the construction or building materials industry
