Estimation and Costing Specialist

Desired Candidate Profile:

Position :- Estimation and Costing Specialist (Job Code: ECN710)
Qualification :- BE in Electrical Engineering (with elective subjects in Power System
Transmission and Distribution)
Experience: - 7-10 years in a reputed Construction company specializing in Power
Substation, Transmission Lines, and Distribution projects, Solar (preferred)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Pre-Tender Activities:
-Collect and analyze information on active and upcoming tenders.
-Review Pre-Qualification (PQ) requirements and ensure eligibility.
-Summarize tender details and manage the purchase of tender documents.

Tendering Activities:
- Prepare and issue enquiries to sub-vendors, collecting backup offers.
-Review and verify supplier documents for compliance with tender requirements.
-Organize and compile all required bid documents, ensuring timely submission.
-Track the status of bids and ensure adherence to deadlines.

Estimation & Costing:
-Review sub-vendor offers, negotiate rates, and assess project costs.
-Prepare detailed cost estimates for infrastructure projects, including material,
labor, and overheads.
-Analyze and break down costs to identify savings opportunities and ensure
competitive pricing.
-Provide accurate and detailed cost analysis and backup documentation for projects.
-Present detailed cost estimates to management for review and approval.
-Regularly monitor and update cost estimates as the project progresses to ensure
budget adherence.
-Collaborate with project teams to manage cost control throughout project execution.
