Job Title: Assistant Project Manager Interior Contracting

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Salary Range: ₹40,000 - ₹50,000 per month

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our team at [Company Name], a leading interior contracting firm. The ideal candidate will support the project management team in the planning, execution, and delivery of interior projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, within budget, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution:
  
• Assist in the creation and execution of detailed project plans, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and client specifications are met.
• Collaborate with the senior project manager to allocate resources, plan work schedules, and develop detailed timelines.
• Monitor and track project progress, ensuring milestones are achieved and reporting any issues or delays promptly.
• Client & Vendor Coordination:
  
• Serve as a point of contact between clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in the selection of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring all materials and services meet project standards.
• Address and resolve any client concerns, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
• Site Management & Supervision:
  
• Regularly visit construction and installation sites to monitor progress and quality control.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, compliance with regulations, and quality of workmanship.
• Help with managing day-to-day site operations and resolving any on-site issues that arise.
• Budget & Cost Control:
  
• Assist in developing and maintaining project budgets, ensuring that the project stays within financial constraints.
• Track expenses and assist in preparing cost reports.
• Assist with cost negotiations and manage invoices for suppliers, contractors, and other third parties.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, timelines, schedules, and cost sheets.
• Provide regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
• Track changes and variations to the original scope of work and update relevant stakeholders.
• Team Coordination:
  
• Coordinate with the design and operations teams to ensure project execution aligns with the client's vision and the design brief.
• Support the senior project manager in maintaining team morale and productivity.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualifications:
  
• A degree/diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Experience:
  
• 2-4 years of experience in project management or interior contracting.
• Proven experience in managing interior fit-out projects is preferred.
• Skills:
  
• Strong knowledge of project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit).
• Familiarity with construction/contracting processes, including site management, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach.
• Additional Skills:
  
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Mumbai.
• Ability to manage a team and build effective working relationships.
