Role & responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams to assess vision and detect eye conditions.
• Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and treatments for visual issues.
• Diagnose and manage eye diseases such as glaucoma and cataracts.
• Educate patients on eye care and healthy vision habits.
• Keep accurate patient records and make referrals to specialists if needed.

Preferred candidate profile

• Applied understanding of general principles of optometry and best practices for the diagnosis and treatment of eye-related disorders and conditions
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to patients of diverse backgrounds
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• General computer proficiency
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and multitasking ability
