Business Analyst(Application Product Champion)-Mumbai

Business Analysis:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
• Create business requirement documents, functional requirement documents, and user stories.
• Analyze data and provide actionable insights to optimize business strategies and operational efficiency.
• Map existing workflows and suggest process improvements using industry best practices.

Project Management Office (PMO) Support:

• Assist in project planning, execution, and tracking in alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Support project managers in ensuring timely and successful delivery of projects.
• Help in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, such as project plans, status reports, and risk management plans.
• Monitor project progress and escalate any issues to senior management for resolution.
• Assist with managing cross-functional team collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to ensure alignment.
• Assist in presenting business analysis findings and project updates to stakeholders, including senior management.

Continuous Improvement & Reporting:

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps in processes and proposing solutions.
• Assist with the creation and analysis of reports to measure the effectiveness of business processes and project delivery.
• Good process knowledge of Inventory and Billing systems along with EMR in healthcare
• Experience in Ophthalmic setup a Plus
• Evaluating business processes, understanding requirements, and documenting the same.
• Working with business team in uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions with the product vendor
• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings, Issue/defect resolutions for their Products.
• Ability to conduct Cost-benefit analysis for each feature of changes asked by user to evaluate whether the gives changes add value to the process and bring in efficiency and increase in productivity or better Customer Service
• Performing requirements analysis and creating BRS, and/or Functional Specification Documents and preparing Functional Test Cases
• Performing Functional testing and user acceptance testing before release to actual users and ensuring system is performing as per specifications and requirements
• Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements and Best practices
• Ability to effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Gathering critical information from Application perspective and process related meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports for adoption or implementation to enhance the product to drive more productivity  and automation
• Conducting Training and guiding users to adopt the system and utilize its >95% functionality wherever applicable and ensuring data capture and accuracy in the system
• Working closely with Doctors, technicians, and Product users and Product Vendors
• Updating, implementing and maintaining system related procedures/process.
• Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements and available IT bandwidth.
• Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
• Preparing weekly and Monthly Activity reports, and submitting to IT-Head.
• Coordinating with the Product Vendor on the work Changes. Issues, progress and fixes
• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
• Managing CRs, Projects, developing project/CR plans, and monitoring project/CR performance along with submitting weekly project progress report and Issue defect resolution report to IT Head/Group CTO.

Tools & Expertise: (A Must)

• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills with very Good knowledge of advance Excel and Analytical tool like Power BI
• Well versed with Business Process Tools like Visio or any open source is also good for UI prototyping and documenting detailed process workflows/Flowcharts
• Very good skills on using MS SQL Server and Query writing to extract data from Database
• Experience in any programming language is a Plus
• Knowledge of UML and especially UML based Functional Requirement document is a Plus but not mandatory
• Well versed with Business Process understanding and concepts
• Good experience in writing and executing Test Cases, and Test Planning
• Executing test cases and recording findings
• Preparing and maintaining Traceability matrix between BRS, Requirement Docs, Design Docs and Test Cases to identify if any gaps and detect it at early stage
• Preparing Test data for testing
• Managing competing resources and priorities.
• A track record of following through on commitments, with Good planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• A history of leading and supporting successful projects and Support team.
• Excellent communication and documenting skills.
• Should have created in past Functional specification document and Functional Test cases and be able to prove.
• Should be Hands-on approach guy with an ability to write and conduct Functional testing of the product himself/herself
• Should have managed a team of 2-3 people on BA side and Application testing
• Ability to work with different teams including Application Support team and IT team and manage them
• Preparing Training Materials and conducting regular training with users either In-Person or Remotely depending on the need and other criteria's to drive system and technology adoption better
