Ascra Technologies - ServiceNow Developer - CMDB (3-5 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer with expertise in custom integrations, ServiceNow scripting, and API development.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions using ServiceNow APIs, building automated workflows, and optimizing scripts for improved performance.

You will also contribute to training foundational LLM models for enhancing the performance of ServiceNow scripting.

Key Responsibilities :

ServiceNow Integrations and Customizations:

- Design, develop, and implement custom integrations using ServiceNow APIs (REST/SOAP).

- Develop custom applications and workflows that leverage the ServiceNow platform's capabilities, including Flow Designer and other built-in tools.

Automation and Scripting:

- Automate processes within ServiceNow using JavaScript and GlideScript to improve efficiency and reliability.

- Optimize existing scripts and workflows to enhance performance, scalability, and user experience.

LLM Model Training and Co-Pilot Improvement:

- Evaluate and train foundational LLM models specific to ServiceNow scripting languages to improve their ability to assist with automation and development.

- Enhance co-pilot performance by refining AI models for better script generation and workflow suggestions.

Collaborative Development:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that custom integrations meet business needs and technical requirements.

- Ensure seamless integration of ServiceNow modules (e.g , ITOM, HRSD, CSM, CMDB health) into existing systems and processes.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow updates and best practices to continuously improve the development and integration processes.

- Provide feedback and suggestions for the ongoing optimization of ServiceNow configurations, scripts, and custom applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Educational Background :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills :

- 3+ years of experience working with ServiceNow, specifically in developing custom integrations using ServiceNow APIs (REST/SOAP).

- Strong experience with JavaScript and GlideScript for automation and scripting within the ServiceNow platform.

- Familiarity with Flow Designer and advanced scripting techniques within ServiceNow.

- Proven experience working with ServiceNow modules such as ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and CMDB Health.

- Experience with ServiceNow Service Portal and UI/UX customizations.

Certifications :

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITOM/HRSD/CSM modules is a plus.

Integration and Automation Expertise :

- Proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs for ServiceNow integration.

- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting languages and their application for process automation.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to manage project priorities, set goals, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in AI/LLM model development and training in the context of ServiceNow scripting.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks for ServiceNow.

- Familiarity with ServiceNow performance tuning and best practices for optimizing workflows and applications.
