Title : Service Now Administrator/Developer
Location : India -Remote
We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer/Administrator to manage, develop, and enhance our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will handle the administration of the platform while also building custom applications and workflows.
This hybrid role requires expertise in system maintenance, customization, and development to ensure the platform meets the organization's business needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including user management, system configurations, and upgrades.
- Monitor system performance and resolve operational issues to ensure platform stability.
- Manage ServiceNow modules like ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CMDB, or others based on business requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ServiceNow best practices and maintain system documentation.
- Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows.
- Create and maintain business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, and script includes.
- Build custom integrations using REST, SOAP, and other ServiceNow integration capabilities.
- Develop custom reports, dashboards, and performance analytics.
- Work closely with business users to gather and analyze requirements for system enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Provide training, support, and technical guidance to end-users and stakeholders.
- Implement automation and process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance user experience.
- Assist with incident, problem, and change management processes as required.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience :
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, or HRSD.
- Experience in platform upgrades and maintaining ServiceNow environments.
Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting (Glide APIs).
- Experience with REST, SOAP APIs, and integration methodologies.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks.
- Familiarity with platform tools like Service Portal, Flow Designer, and Performance Analytics.
Preferred Qualifications :
- ServiceNow certifications : Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS).
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Orchestration, or Automation.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA.
Soft Skills :
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
