Ascendion - Senior Backend Engineer - Javascript/TypeScript (2-3 yrs)

Role :

We are looking for a talented backend developer with strong skills in TypeScript and Node.js to join our team. In this role, you will design and develop secure, scalable, and high-performance REST APIs using AWS serverless architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with stakeholders worldwide.

Responsibilities :

- Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code using TypeScript and Node.js.

- Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performance REST APIs.

- Build microservices and serverless applications using AWS services like API Gateway, Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB.

- Ensure the reliability and security of applications by implementing best practices, including OAuth2, JWT, IAM, and role-based access control.

- Write unit and integration tests using tools like Jest to maintain high code quality.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage automated deployments within the AWS ecosystem.

- Document APIs using tools like Swagger or OpenAPI for clear communication and version control.

Required Skills :

- Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including API Gateway, Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB.

- Experience in designing and developing secure and scalable REST APIs.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment in the AWS ecosystem.
