- We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Manager to join a reputed luxury jewelry brand in Chennai.
- The ideal candidate will manage store operations, drive sales strategies, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while aligning with the company's vision and goals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Store Operations:
- Oversee front-end store operations, ensuring seamless daily activities.
- Conduct random physical inventory checks to maintain accuracy and stock levels.
- Ensure proper usage and storage of POS and packaging materials.
Sales and Customer Engagement:
- Drive sales targets by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve complaints/suggestions promptly.
- Report customer feedback, complaints, and suggestions to Head Office (HO).
Visual Merchandising and Strategy:
- Develop and implement annual Visual Merchandising Plans to enhance store appeal.
- Contribute to the company's Marketing and PR Strategy.
Training and Development:
- Train and mentor new recruits in sales techniques and customer service excellence.
- Lead by example to foster a high-performing and motivated sales team.
Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare and submit daily reports to HO in prescribed formats.
- Authorize memos, cash discounts, and sales returns as per company policy.
- Maintain confidentiality of company information, designs, and strategies during and after employment.
Collaboration with HO:
- Coordinate with the HO on store activities, stock requirements, and operational improvements.
- Provide feedback to designers/manufacturers based on customer insights.
Travel and Flexibility:
- Be open to working in other retail branches within the city or participating in exhibitions across India and internationally.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail operations or sales, preferably in the luxury or jewelry segment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to align with the company's vision and represent it effectively.
- Proficiency in creating visual merchandising plans and driving sales strategies.
- Comfortable with travel and adapting to different retail environments.
- Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
