Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Manager Digital Communication to lead digital storytelling, content management, and online engagement efforts. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in strengthening the organizations brand presence, enhancing audience engagement, and supporting fundraising initiatives through compelling digital content and communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage digital content aligned with the organizations brand strategy to enhance visibility and impact.
Oversee content creation, curation, and distribution across digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns.
Drive audience engagement by planning and executing targeted social media campaigns and monitoring performance through analytics.
Support fundraising efforts by developing communication strategies for donor engagement and campaign amplification.
Ensure effective online reputation management (ORM) and address digital audience interactions promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to source impactful stories, images, and videos that showcase program impact.
Partner with external digital agencies for SEO optimization, paid media strategies, and brand awareness initiatives.
Manage website content, ensuring regular updates, optimization, and alignment with strategic objectives.
Provide strategic communications support for institutional and individual fundraising teams.
Coordinate content marketing initiatives and oversee the digital marketing calendar.
Conduct field visits to program locations to document case studies and create compelling digital narratives.
Monitor and report on digital performance metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

Postgraduate degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, English Literature , or a related field. Additional certification in Digital Marketing is a plus.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital communication, branding, advertising, or digital marketing. Experience in the development sector is preferred.
Expertise in SEO, Google Analytics, Ads Manager, and social listening tools .
Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives for digital audiences.
Experience in planning and executing large-scale digital fundraising campaigns.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to measure and optimize digital performance.
Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
