Job Purpose:
- The Head - West - TILES is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing the sales and operations of the Tiles division across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Goa, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh.
- The role demands dynamic leadership to drive revenue growth, establish market dominance, and ensure operational excellence in a highly competitive and premium segment of the building materials industry.
- The incumbent will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets for the region.
- Establish and expand market share by leveraging deep industry knowledge and insights.
- Collaborate with senior management to align regional strategies with overall corporate objectives.
Sales and Market Development:
- Drive channel sales through a robust network of dealers and distributors.
- Lead institutional and project sales by building relationships with architects, builders, and developers.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities within the assigned region.
- Execute pricing strategies and ensure alignment with premium product positioning.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing regional sales team across multiple states.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and performance excellence.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback to achieve individual and collective goals.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure seamless coordination across geographies.
- Manage the supply chain effectively to maintain optimal inventory levels and timely product delivery.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Address and resolve customer queries to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitive insights.
- Utilize data analytics to drive informed decision-making and strategic adjustments.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in channel sales and institutional/project sales, with a proven track record in managing dealer/distributor networks.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to effectively sell premium products.
- Proficiency in strategic planning and execution to achieve ambitious sales targets.
- Advanced analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships across diverse stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools and sales performance management systems.

- Demonstrated success in team leadership and driving performance in regional sales.
- Consistent career progression, with a minimum of 3 years in each role held previously.
- Proven expertise in managing PAN India exposure and operations across multiple states.
