Senior Backend Developer - Low Code/No Code Platform (4-8 yrs)

Job Purpose :

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join their team with expertise in low code/no code platforms.

The ideal candidate should have a strong command of one of the following languages: Java, PHP (Laravel), or Node.js. Proficiency in relational databases is essential.

Responsibilities will include designing, developing and maintaining clients low code/no code solutions, ensuring their efficiency and functionality and maintaining robust and scalable applications.

As a senior member of the development team, the Backend Developer will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture and technical direction of projects.

The Backend Developer should be able to work Independently. .

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Design and implement efficient, secure, and scalable system architectures and databases.

- Integrate third-party APIs and services into applications as needed.

- Check that the database and external queries are running at optimal performance.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices.

- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the application stack.

- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.

- Work on Low Code and No Code platforms for backend (XANO)

Requirements :

- A Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 4 to 7 years of relevant work experience. Candidates who have worked on multiple products, solutions will be preferred.

- Coding in Java OR PHP (Laravel) OR Node.js (please specify your preferred coding language)

- Designing relational databases such as PostgreSQL and/or MySQL from scratch

- Hands on experience in building REST APIs and integrating third party services

- Handling database optimization and performance at scale

- Hands on experience with cloud services such as AWS or GCP, including setting up services like compute instances, cloud storage, managed DB, Lambda

- Working on Caching tools like Redis

- Hands-on experience in batch processing using queues & jobs. Example: RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS

- Hands on experience on deployment. Example - PM2 Engine, Kubernetes, Docker

- Experience developing backend applications on low code/no code platforms such as Xano, Mendix, OutSystems
