Job Description
- Formulate the short term and long term product strategy for Rapid test and other immunodiagnostic product lines in terms of brand strategy, positioning, pricing, promotions and packaging.
- Product lines being handled include Rapid tests (Malaria, HIV, HbsAg, HCV, Dengue etc)
- Devise co-marketing strategies for specific product segments in order to introduce complementary range of products.
- Undertake appropriate review of product portfolio and recommend phase in and phase out decisions.
- Conduct market analysis and required market research to determine the market potential for all products.
- Liaison with principals for new product development in terms vendor selection, finalisation and launch of product in co-ordination with R&D and production.
- Determine product costing, advise pricing strategy in co-ordination with Finance team. Monitor sales by value, volume and product mix across the product range with help of SD module in SAP. Devising parameters to monitor progress of focus products on monthly basis such as prospects trackers, customer acquisition and loss reports, typical customer profile.
- Liaison with R&D and supply chain for products under management on issues related to customer service, long term forecasts, etc.
- Undertake product level budgets for short and longer terms.
- Undertake budgeting and spend control, indents for production, inventory management.
