DevOps Architect - Linux System Administration (8-10 yrs)

The Team :

At Archimedis, we're changing how we develop and deliver our next-generation Digital services and technology products.

Our capabilities include designing the target operating model, assessing policies and procedures, testing and monitoring on a managed services and project basis, assessing risk, reporting and communicating, as well as building the analytics and reporting structures to allow for ongoing measurement and monitoring.

Work you'll do :

- Experience in Linux System Administration, Build Engineering & Release Management process, including end-to end code configuration, building binaries & deployments and entire life cycle model in Enterprise Applications.

- In-depth knowledge of DevOps management methodologies and production deployment Configurations.

- Skilled at Software Development Life Cycles and Agile Programming Methodologies.

- Extensive knowledge on creating an end to end build and release pipelines.

- Experience with Jenkins as Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment- Tool- and strong expertise with Ant and Maven Build Frameworks.

- Experience with Version Control Systems like- GIT,- SVN- (Subversion.

- Proficient in setting up and configuring Baselines, Branching, Merging, and Backup through- GIT, Subversion(SVN).

- Experienced in authoring- pom xml- files, performing releases with the Maven- release plug-in and managing Maven repositories.

- Monitor, build and deploy software releases and provide support for production deployments.

- Configure JENKINS Monitor, List and Build views to displays the status and progress of selected jobs with build version information.

- Automate application deployment in the cloud using Docker technology using Elastic Container Service scheduler.

- Create and manage a Docker deployment pipeline for custom application images in the cloud using Jenkins.

- Deploy and configured Chef Server including bootstrapping of chef-client nodes for provisioning.

- Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), and- IaaS- (Infrastructure as a Service) solutions.

- Expertise in Kubernetes Architecture.

- Expertise in automating the infrastructure through writing the CloudFormation scripts.

- Extensive experience with AWS (Storage, Application Services, Deployment and Management) and managed servers on AWS platform instances using- Chef Configuration management.

- Hands on experience in AWS provisioning and good knowledge of AWS services like- EC2, S3, Glacier, ELB, RDS, Redshift, IAM, Route 53, VPC, Auto scaling, Cloud Front, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Cloud Formation, Elasticache Security Groups.

- Skills in monitoring servers using Cloud watch- using Elastic Search.

- Experience in managing infrastructure resources in- cloud architecture- with close coordination with various functional teams.

Qualifications :

Required :

- 8+ years of experience as a Devops Admin, working with a strong team of architects, backend developers to gather function and non-functional requirements.

- Experience setting up entire CI/CD pipeline.

- Experience conducting and leading Devops Architectural discussions.

- Experience in any Cloud Architecture is a must.

- Must have critical thinking skills and the ability to see the big picture in addition to the detailed tasks necessary to complete the next Sprint.

- Extensive experience creating current and future state workflows using Visio; and process mapping skills are required.

Preferred :

- Prior professional services or consulting experience in a Lifesciences Industry.

- A good understanding of Lifesciences practices and regulatory requirements.
