  • Involves close collaboration with stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to deliver innovative and reliable solutions

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture Design and Development:
  • Design and develop application architectures using Core Java, Java EE, and advanced frameworks
  • Define system designs that align with business objectives, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Architect solutions leveraging event-driven and message queue architectures (eg, Apache Kafka, Apache Pulsar, etc)

    • Domain Expertise:

  • Implement solutions tailored to the financial services and payments domain, adhering to industry standards and regulatory compliance
  • Microservices and Cloud:
  • Design and implement microservices architectures with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS)
  • Deploy serverless computing models on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

    • DevOps and SDLC:

  • Lead DevOps practices to enable CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and integration
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies

    • Security and Testing:

  • Apply secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities
  • Advocate for and implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Test-Driven Design approaches
  • Database and Integration Management:
  • Manage and optimize relational and NoSQL databases
  • Oversee system integrations, ensuring robust communication between systems
  • Team Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
  • Lead technical teams in delivering complex projects, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
  • Act as the liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of requirements and progress
  • Documentation and Governance:
  • Maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including design specifications, security guidelines, and technical roadmaps

    • Technical Expertise:

  • Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java EE, and related frameworks
  • Expertise in cloud computing platforms and container orchestration tools
  • Solid experience in event-driven architectures and messaging systems

    • Domain Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated expertise in financial services and payments systems, with a focus on secure and compliant architectures
  • Software Development Practices:
  • Advanced understanding of SDLC, TDD, and secure coding methodologies

    • Tools and Technologies:

  • Proficient in tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, RabbitMQ, GitLab, Jenkins, and Terraform

    • Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for team and stakeholder collaboration

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications in cloud platforms (eg, AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect)
  • Advanced knowledge of regulatory compliance in the financial domain (eg, PCI-DSS)
