Sr. Application Architect, Professional Services

Are you an experienced cloud architect/developer who can assist our customers in design and development of cloud native applications and/or re-engineering applications that can fully leverage the AWS Cloud? Do you like to work on a variety of game changing projects, at the forefront of application development and cloud technology adoption? This role is open for Mumbai/Pune/Bangalore/ Hyderabad.
In order for applications to be cloud optimized they need to be well-architected enabling them to reap the benefits of elasticity, horizontal scalability, automation and high availability. On the AWS platform services such as Amazon EC2, Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Amazon Elastic Container Services to name just a few, provide opportunities to design and build cloud ready applications.

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for hands on architects/developers who are passionate about:
- Helping internal customers make decisions on their cloud journey and architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage AWS services
- Assisting internal customers to architect and develop applications that are cloud optimized
- Working as a technical leader along side customer business, development and infrastructure teams.
- Assist internal customers by sharing deep software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture, design patterns and programming
- Advising and implementing AWS best practices
- Assist internal customers in infrastructure and application development
- Assist internal customer s in agile software development and DevOps
- Assist internal customers in implementing DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration and automated deployment
- Experience of independently leading a team that delivers working software systems consisting of multiple features spanning the full software lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance strategy
- Experience in scoping development efforts, identify risks, and prioritize deliverables to meet to your organization s goals. You provide guidance and resources so your team designs solutions making the right trade-offs.

- 15+ years of an application programming and/or hands-on technical application architecture experience
- 15+ years of experience as a technical specialist in Customer-facing roles.
- Ability to travel to client locations as needed (25-40%)
