Cloud Engineer - AWS

Responsibilities :

AWS Infrastructure Management :

- Design, deploy, and manage AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, ELB, and VPCs.

- Configure and monitor cloud resources for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Security & Compliance :

- Implement IAM policies, roles, and permissions to ensure secure access.

- Manage security groups, NACLs, and encryption (KMS, SSL/TLS).

- Maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks like HIPAA, GDPR, or SOC

Monitoring & Optimization :

- Set up monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, AWS Config, or third-party solutions.

- Optimize resource utilization and costs using tools like AWS Cost Explorer and Trusted Advisor.

Automation & Scripting :

- Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.

- Develop scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell for maintenance tasks.

Networking :

- Configure and manage VPCs, subnets, NAT gateways, and VPNs.

- Set up DNS with Route 53 and implement networking solutions like Direct Connect.

Backup & Recovery :

- Implement disaster recovery solutions using AWS Backup, EBS snapshots, and S3 lifecycle policies.

- Manage backups and ensure business continuity.

Troubleshooting & Support :

- Diagnose and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and integrations.

- Provide technical support to development teams for AWS-related tasks.

Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPN, ELB, Lambda, Route53 etc.).

- Hands-on experience with automation tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.

- Proficiency in networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, firewalls, etc.).

- Familiarity with containerization (ECS, EKS, Docker) is a plus.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
