Area Sales Manager / Executive - FMCG exp only

Job description

We are seeking a only FMCG experienced Area Sales Manager and Area Sales Executive to lead and expand our distribution network in the Dairy Products Division, specifically focused on Milk Shakes, Ghee, and Milk Powder. This role requires a driven sales professional with expertise in team management, channel development, and sales strategies for primary and secondary markets, modern trade, and institutional sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish, manage, and expand the distribution network in the assigned territory to maximize reach and ensure efficient product availability.
• Motivate and monitor the team to ensure targets for secondary sales are met and exceeded, providing support and guidance as needed.
• Oversee all primary sales activities for Ghee, Milk Shake.
• Develop strong relationships with key accounts in the modern trade sector, ensuring optimal product placement and sales.
• Identify and build relationships with institutional buyers (such as hotels, restaurants, and catering services) for bulk sales of milk powder, ghee, and milk shakes.
• Drive sales growth within the institutional segment by developing customized solutions and value-added offerings.
• Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
• Handle promotional activities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager/Executive or in a similar role, specifically in the dairy or FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of distribution channels, modern trade dynamics, and institutional sales.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights for sales growth.Role & responsibilities
