Job Description : QA Test Engineer

The Quality Assurance Testing plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products by leading and managing the product testing team. This position requires a highly experienced and motivated individual with a proven track record in managing and developing teams, implementing effective testing strategies, and delivering products on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of QA principles and methodologies, coupled with exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, to guide the team towards achieving optimal testing coverage and defect identification.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Build a high-performing and involvement into testing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.
• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and methodologies aligned with product requirements and industry best practices.
• Define and manage the testing lifecycle, including test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
• Prioritize and assign testing activities based on risk and project timelines.
• Oversee the execution of testing activities, ensuring thorough and efficient coverage of all product functionalities.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and facilitate their resolution through effective communication and collaboration with development teams.
• Monitor and evaluate testing progress and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and implement automated testing solutions to improve testing efficiency and scalability.
• Maintain and ensure the effectiveness of QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential quality risks and proactively propose solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and release management, to ensure smooth product delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in QA methodologies and tools and implement them to enhance team effectiveness.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages open communication, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Required Skill set :

• Experience in fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.
• Strong understanding of QA principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies and methodologies aligned with product requirements.
• Ability to define and manage the testing lifecycle, including test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect tracking.
• Skills in prioritizing and assigning testing activities based on risk and project timelines.
• Experience in developing and implementing automated testing solutions to improve testing efficiency and scalability.
• Proficiency in analyzing test results, identifying defects, and facilitating their resolution through effective communication with development teams.
• Ability to monitor and evaluate testing progress and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Excellent knowledge of testing tools and methodologies, including automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms is a plus.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to maintain and ensure the effectiveness of QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

Qualification :

• Bachelor of degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Insurance Domain and quality assurance.
• Proven experience in International Client Handling.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent knowledge of testing tools and methodologies, including automation frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in identifying, reporting, and resolving defects.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines effectively, and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms.
