Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by employing industry-best practices, test strategies, and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
• Conduct thorough manual testing across web, mobile, and desktop platforms to identify defects and ensure product quality.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
• Document and track bugs using defect tracking tools, providing clear and concise information to development teams.
• Utilize test management platforms for organizing and reporting test plans, cases, and results.
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, ensuring QA considerations are integrated into sprints.
• Continuously refine test strategies to align with changing project needs and industry trends.
• Contribute to process improvements and advocate for QA best practices within the team.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years in manual testing with exposure to diverse testing techniques (e.g., functional, regression, usability, integration).
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Proven expertise in creating, executing, and managing test cases.
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar).
• Familiarity with test management platforms (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
• Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with great attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Basic knowledge of test automation tools and scripting (e.g., Selenium, Postman for API testing).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with QA processes.
