Senior QA Engineer

Job Description

• Good hands-on experience in testing User Interface, APIs, Database, Security, Client/Server communication and other functionalities of the Application (web based & batch jobs).
• Experience in Functional testing - Main functionality, Basic usability, Accessibility & Error conditions.
• Good experience in understanding Functional requirements, prepare test cases & create test data, execute test cases, and validate results.
• Experience in various Testing skills Smoke testing, Sanity testing Regression testing, User Acceptance testing, Integration testing, and Interoperability testing.
• Experience in testing APIs using SoapUI or Postman etc., tools.
• Experience in working Agile/Scrum methodology
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in working with global teams

Nice to have Skills:

• Knowledge on Oracle database and writing simple to medium complex queries.
• Knowledge on Selenium framework for automation.
• Knowledge on Performance testing.
• Knowledge on tools like SoapUI, Postman, JMeter, Load Runner, Browser Developer tools etc.,

JOB DEMANDS:

• Flexible schedule to work evenings and weekends, as needed
• Ability to work seated at a computer for long periods of time
