Associate Partner - Legal - LLB/LLM (8-9 yrs)

My client is seeking an accomplished legal professional to join its General Corporate practice as an Associate Partner, specializing in Private Equity and Venture Capital transactions. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team on high-value deals, providing strategic counsel to top-tier clients across diverse sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage complex PE/VC transactions, including structuring, negotiation, and execution.

- Advise clients on investment strategies, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and exit mechanisms.

- Draft, review, and negotiate key transaction documents such as Share Purchase Agreements, Shareholders' Agreements, and Investment Agreements.

- Oversee due diligence processes, risk assessments, and regulatory filings.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.

- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering professional development within the practice.

Qualifications:

- LL.B. from a reputed institution; LL.M. is an added advantage.

- 8+ years of post-qualification experience in General Corporate law with a strong focus on PE/VC transactions.

- Proven track record of handling complex, high-value deals independently.

- Strong understanding of Indian corporate laws, SEBI regulations, FDI policy, and cross-border transaction frameworks.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
