Partner - Capital Markets Practice - Law Firm - LLB (12-20 yrs)

Our client, a top-tier law firm, is establishing its Capital Markets practice in Bangalore and is looking for a visionary Partner to lead this initiative. The ideal candidate should come with a proven track record, an established business plan, and a strong client base to shape and grow the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Spearhead the development of the Equity Capital Markets practice in Bangalore.

- Advise on high-profile transactions, including IPOs, QIPs, REITs, public offerings, and ADRs, building on your expertise in handling large-scale deals.

- Lead managers and financial institutions in landmark capital markets transactions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support broader corporate and transactional mandates.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on complex regulatory and compliance matters.

- Foster and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including corporate clients, lead managers, and institutional investors.

- Lead a team of associates, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the highest level of service delivery.

- Contribute to firm-wide business development initiatives and establish the practice as a market leader.

Qualifications:

- Extensive experience in domestic and cross-border capital markets transactions, including public offerings, QIPs, and REITs.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and execute iconic deals with high value and complexity.

- Established client relationships in the capital markets space.

- Strong leadership, entrepreneurial drive, and business development capabilities.

- A strategic mindset with the ability to build and scale a practice from scratch.

- LLB and law firm background is a must (do not apply if you have even one in-house experience)
