Key Responsibilities :

- Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Manage global and domestic commercial contracts, including IT/digital agreements, financing, leasing, procurement, and loan documentation.

- Legal Advisory: Provide legal counsel on business transactions, partnerships, acquisitions, and corporate decisions.

- Complex Transactions: Handle high-stakes, complex commercial transactions, ensuring effective strategy, negotiation, and closure.

- Risk Management & Mitigation: Lead risk reviews, mitigate legal issues, resolve roadblocks, and enable decision-making across cross-functional teams.

- Regulatory Compliance: Advise on legal and regulatory issues, ensuring compliance and assisting in process/policy development to minimize risks.

- New Business Support: Collaborate on new business initiatives, balancing legal and regulatory needs with business objectives.

- External Legal Consultation: Work with external lawyers for specialized legal opinions or advice on transactions as needed.

- Process Optimization: Oversee the development and refinement of legal processes to enhance efficiency and minimize organizational risk.

- Legal Landscape Awareness: Stay updated on relevant legal and regulatory changes affecting the organization.

Experience & Skills:

- Professional Experience: 18+ years in corporate law, with substantial in-house or law firm experience, ideally from a reputed university.

- Strong Organizational & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, working effectively with teams and business leaders.

- Independent Judgment & Analytical Skills: Demonstrated expertise in legal analysis and business decision-making.

- Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
