Job Title: SDE 3 - Frontend Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka What you will do: Application Development: Design, build, and maintain high-performance mobile web (MWeb) applications. Hands-on Coding: Work with cutting-edge frontend technologies to develop robust MWeb applications. Integration: Collaborate on the development of MWeb applications and their seamless integration with back-end services. Architecture & Design: Contribute to the design and architecture of application components, ensuring scalability and maintainability. Code Quality: Write high-quality, reusable, and reliable code while maintaining code organization and automation. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve application bottlenecks to enhance performance. Project Prioritization: Help prioritize the squad backlog to ensure timely and efficient delivery. Implementation of UI/UX: Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality, functional code. Best Practices: Ensure adherence to engineering best practices and coding standards. Team Collaboration: Work alongside engineers and developers across different application modules. Leadership: Drive the design and architecture of frontend components and ensure engineering excellence in the team. Mentorship: Guide and mentor team members to foster technical growth and excellence. Who you are: Proficiency in Svelte, SvelteKit, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Experience with cross-platform frameworks for both web and mobile applications, with a strong emphasis on Svelte, SvelteKit. Strong understanding of responsive design for mobile web (MWeb) applications and proficiency in performance optimization techniques. In-depth understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript for writing robust, type-safe code ensuring maintainability and reusability. Exposure to Object-Oriented Design/Programming and modern constructs like closures, async programming, and background workers. Familiarity with testing tools like BrowserStack, LambdaTest, Lighthouse, and WebPageTest. Experience working with testing frameworks like Vitest, Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress. Ability to accurately translate user and business needs into performant UI code. Experience implementing designs and assets handed over through Figma. Strong experience in developing UI adhering to MVVM architecture. Experience in creating and maintaining dynamic single-page user interfaces, providing seamless and responsive interactions. Exposure to high-level hygiene guidelines such as the 12-factor app principles. Experience with Vite for fast builds and optimized bundling. Experience in integrating analytics tools like Firebase, Sentry to collect and analyse data for continuous improvement. Strong experience with development lifecycle tools such as Git and GitHub Actions. Extensive experience with building RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications. Experience with manual testing of RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman or Insomnia. Whats in it for You?
