Product Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and execute product strategies for standalone automation retrofit solutions.
• Identify retrofit opportunities within the current install base and expand into competitor installations to drive market growth.
• Define and implement product roadmaps that align with market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements.
• Collaborate with audit engineers to establish project scopes based on customer requirements.
• Lead the creation of technical and commercial proposals for retrofit solutions.
• Support regional sales teams with product positioning, commercial discussions, and negotiations.
• Provide sales teams with tools, insights, and data for effective customer engagement.
• Integrate electrical and instrumentation scopes into product strategies and retrofit offerings.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to deliver multidisciplinary automation solutions.
• Track product adoption, market penetration, and customer feedback to refine strategies.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and business cases for retrofit products.
• Drive obsolescence management initiatives, ensuring a structured approach to upgrades and replacements.
• Act as a key advocate for #1ANDRITZWay, embodying leadership and collaboration across teams.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Strong background in product management, sales processes, and value proposition development.
• Experience in Key Account Management and customer engagement strategies.
• Understanding of automation and digitalization in process industries (preferably feed and biofuel).
• Proven ability to develop and execute product roadmaps, driving business objectives globally.
• Experience with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
• Strong internal and external networking capabilities within relevant industries.
• Knowledge of automation and digitalization trends and their value-add in process industries.
• Fluent in English (mandatory); additional language skills are a plus.
