International Risk and Controls sits within International Card Services (ICS) which comprises of all the issuing functions across all 28 international markets excluding the US - colleagues operate across a variety of geographies and disciplines. The objective of the ICS Control Management Legal Entity India Market Team is to provide specialized and strategic operational risk (OR) advisory specific to Issuing and acquiring business unit areas. The role will involve extensive collaboration with multiple partners across numerous business units, functional areas, and geographies.
ICS Control Management organization is looking for a Analyst Legal Entity Governance focused on India Merchant Business ensuring control management is embedded in the day-to-day operations of our Merchant business. It will involve extensive collaboration with multiple partners across numerous business units, functional areas, and geographies.
Specific Responsibilities:
The Analyst, ICS Control Management Legal Entity Governance - India will:
Assists in specific areas of execution plans for operational risk management within the GMNS business unit (BU), including BU specific guidelines, project plans, etc.
Support the implementation of parts of the operational risk framework to enable effective risk management and decision making in the GMNS BU
Help facilitate the understanding and use of the risk governance framework basics across GMNS BUs through regular communication
Assist to aggregate basic level reporting, approvals/exceptions and support "change-the-function" activities for the GMNS BU
Supporting business processes to effectively manage and resolve issues. Drive early detection of risks and issues, supporting the business to fix them rapidly, in line with risk appetite.
Support the business activities to prevent customer-impacting issues via effective processes and controls design and execution
Support process owners in creating and documenting their process in addition to the risks and controls in their process using the RCSA methodology. Facilitate the annual Risk Assessment Questionnaire refresh process. Ensure robust coverage of GMS processes through the RCSA program and execute all RCSA framework requirements.
Work with Business teams to support and streamline key Business Process and Business Self Testing programs for GMS.
Follow processes to ensure and monitor the integration of regulatory changes updates into the Operational Risk framework and training materials.
This role within LE Control Management supports the 1st line with Internal Audit and Regulatory Exam monitoring and outcomes. Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders in the business, Compliance and Audit, the successful candidate will support India LE GMNS business in driving clarity, improving outcomes, sharing best practice and providing meaningful insights to the Leadership Team, Market Operational Risk Experts and Functional Experts within the GMNS and ICS Control Management.
Provide comprehensive support to the Operational Risk Management Committee (ORMC) w.r.t GMNS related area, ensuring timely reporting and bringing GMNS related issues in the meetings and the timely dissemination of information.
