Job Responsibilities :

- Participate in the full lifecycle of complex data pipeline development: analysis, design, build, documentation, and testing.

- Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies, and work with partners across various cross-functional teams to implement data quality controls.

- Translate requirements and business logic into technical solutions.

- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production processes that source key data and build metrics.

- Proactively seek opportunities to optimize data pipelines and innovate to improve data democratization and consumption needs.

Qualifications and Skills Required :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related engineering field

- 3-6 years of experience in distributed big data frameworks, such as Hadoop and Spark

- Familiarity with cloud concepts, particularly GCP and BigQuery, preferred

- Shell and Python scripting experience

- Expertise in writing complex, highly optimized queries across large datasets

- Team player with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams on complex, interdependent solutions in a fast-paced environment

- Experience with Tableau or other BI tools is a plus

- Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

- Willingness to work with partners across time zones and markets
